CHITROKUTHIR WEDDINGS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The above-listed Clients and Chitrokuthir Weddings agree that the Photographer will provide wedding photography, cinematography services as outlined in the package above. This is a legally-binding contract. This contract represents the entire understanding of the requirements, schedule, and payment terms for the wedding photography, cinematography services listed above. If there are any disputes or actions resulting in legal proceedings related to this contract, such actions shall take place in and be subject to the laws of Bangladesh. Clients accept sole financial responsibility for any legal fees or related costs incurred by the Photographer in enforcing the terms of this wedding photography, cinematography contract. Any failure by one or both parties to uphold or enforce a provision of this contract shall not constitute a waiver of any other provision of this contract.

1. BOOKING & PAYMENTS

• A 30% advance payment (non-refundable) is required to confirm booking and secure dates.
• Remaining payments:
  • 60% after the last function shoot.
  • 5% after wedding trailer delivery.
  • 5% after final album/print delivery.
• Payments may be made via Bank Transfer, Net Banking, Bkash, or Cash after your event.

• Payments not cleared within 15 days of due date may attract a late fee.

2. DELIVERABLES, REVISIONS & DATA RETENTION

• Raw Photos: Delivered within 10 days after dues cleared.
• Edited Albums: Delivered within 25 days after selections/approvals.
• Wedding Videos: Delivered within 30 days after music/song approval.
• Timelines may extend up to 10 additional working days during peak season or due to technical issues.
• Deliverables provided in high-resolution JPEG format. RAW files are not shared unless agreed separately
• Clients must submit album photo selections within 1 month of receiving photos.
• One round of revision included for albums and wedding films. Additional revisions may incur charges.
• After 1-month post-delivery, raw files may be permanently deleted. Clients are encouraged to back up their files immediately upon delivery.
• Extended storage (1 year) is available for Tk 5,000.
• Express delivery services may be arranged at additional cost.

4. SOCIAL MEDIA & USAGE RIGHTS

• ChitroKuthir Weddings may use selected photos/videos for portfolios, websites, exhibitions, and social media promotions.
• Clients who wish to keep their photos/videos fully private may opt for our Exclusive Privacy Protection Package (Tk 5,000).
• By booking our services, clients consent to photography/videography of guests unless individuals request otherwise in advance.

 

5. COUPLE PORTRAIT SESSIONS

• 1–2 hours must be allocated on the wedding/reception day for the bride & groom portraits.
• Outdoor shoots (if included in package) require extra allocated time.
• If time is not provided, ChitroKuthir Weddings is not responsible for missed shots.

 

6. CLIENT CONFIRMATION OF EVENT DETAILS

The Client agrees to confirm the final event date(s), venue(s), and timing no later than 7 days prior to the event. Failure to provide timely confirmation may result in incomplete coverage or additional charges for adjustments.

 

7. COVERAGE, TIMING & CLIENT PUNCTUALITY

• Coverage as per the booked package.
• A 1–2-hour buffer Beyond this, Tk 2,000/hour applies.
• Night event coverage ends strictly at 12:00 am.
• The client must ensure timely cooperation, punctuality, and availability for scheduled shoots. Missed sessions due to client delay or absence will not be rescheduled without additional charges.

 

8. TEAM SAFETY, EQUIPMENT & HARASSMENT

• Any damage to equipment caused by guests/clients must be covered by the client.
• If equipment is stolen from the client’s house during coverage, the client must cover replacement costs. (Not applicable to rented venues.)
• In the event of inappropriate, threatening, or offensive behavior directed at the Photographer or team members, ChitroKuthir Weddings reserves the right to stop coverage and retain all fees paid. The Photographer will make a reasonable effort to notify the Client and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue or remove the offending individual(s) before ceasing coverage.
• For full-day events, the client agrees to provide basic meals and water, or allow sufficient meal breaks, for team members.

 

10. OVERNIGHT STAY SAFETY

If overnight stay is required, the client must pre-arrange secure private rooms/hotel accommodation. Failure to do so transfers full liability to the client for theft, damage, or personal safety incidents.

 

13. FORCE MAJEURE & LIABILITY

• In case of natural disasters, accidents, strikes, illness, or events beyond control, ChitroKuthir Weddings is not liable for incomplete coverage.
• Liability is limited to refunds of payments beyond the non-refundable advance.
• In case of illness/emergencies, another qualified photographer/videographer may be substituted. If not possible, refunds beyond the advance will apply.

 

14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

• All photos and videos remain the copyright of ChitroKuthir Weddings.
• Clients are granted full personal rights of use (print, post, share, and distribute). However, unauthorized editing, cropping, or alteration of any content that includes the ChitroKuthir Weddings watermark/logo is strictly prohibited.

15. OTHER CONDITIONS

• ChitroKuthir Weddings follows a creative documentary style; editing is done at our artistic discretion.
• We are not liable for missed shots due to guest interference, venue restrictions, or client delays.
• Drone and special equipment usage depend on venue permissions.
• Clients must intoduce a person for smooth coordination.

 

16. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

• All advance payments are strictly non-refundable. If the client cancels or reschedules the event, the advance will not be refunded. Any balance amounts paid for services not yet rendered may be adjusted at the Service Provider’s discretion.
• If cancellation is due to pandemic restrictions, natural disasters, or force majeure, advance remains non-refundable, but rescheduling may be considered subject to availability.

 

By signing this agreement, both parties confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to the Terms & Conditions of ChitroKuthir Weddings.
