Who We Are
Bangladesh’s First Science-Driven Wedding Studio
ChitroKuthir Weddings was founded in 2016 by Ahat Mondol with a single mission: to bring international-standard cinematography and photography to weddings across Bangladesh. What makes us different isn’t just our equipment. It’s the scientific approach we bring to every frame.
Ahat Mondol founded ChitroKuthir Weddings in 2016 after recognizing that couples in Bangladesh deserved cinematic-quality wedding documentation without compromise. He spent 5 years in India completing his BSc and MSc in Animation & Multimedia at Brainware University, Kolkata, during which he also covered wedding events in one of the world's largest wedding markets, before returning to build ChitroKuthir Weddings in Bangladesh with international-standard technical precision and a deep understanding of both Bangladeshi and Indian wedding traditions.
Over the past 10+ years, we have covered 100+ weddings, from intimate ceremonies in Dinajpur to grand multi-day celebrations in Dhaka. Every event is treated with the same level of care, regardless of budget.

Our Photography Philosophy
At ChitroKuthir Weddings, we believe that wedding photography is not about perfect poses or flawless lighting. It is about truth. The unguarded laugh between a bride and her mother. The moment a groom realises his life is about to change. The chaos of a Bengali holud dissolving into pure joy. These are the moments we exist to capture.
Our approach is rooted in cinematic documentary storytelling, a style that treats your wedding as a film rather than a catalogue of portraits. We observe more than we direct. We anticipate rather than interrupt. The result is a collection of images that feel alive when you look back at them years later, because they were alive when we captured them.
The Person Behind the Camera
Ahat Mondol founded ChitroKuthir Weddings in 2016. He holds a M.Sc. Animation & Multimedia, Brainware University, Kolkata, which grounds his approach to visual storytelling, colour theory, and cinematography.
With 10+ years of professional experience and 100+ couples served across Bangladesh, Ahat has developed an instinct for weddings that goes beyond technical skill. He reads rooms, anticipates rituals, and positions himself exactly where the story is unfolding, before it unfolds.

Travel charges apply for locations outside Dhaka. We are transparent about all costs from the first consultation. There are no hidden fees or surprises in our invoicing.
